Blogging

A Blog is a great learning tool that can really open up the classroom and make insightful contacts in the learning process. You can upload important lesson content, and students can see this from home. When combined with a message board, a blog can be a powerful method of communication and delivering your learning objectives. Why not create a blog to get students to comment on their own artwork, at the end of a unit of work, or after visits to galleries!

There are lots of ways of making a blog, this is just one of them:

Go to the web site blogger.com:

The website Blogger

You may need to create an account if you are a first time user. Don't worry, its painless!

Click on the "Create a blog" tab at the top:

Create an account

Give your blog a name. Something easy and relevant to the work is an obvious idea.

Choose a name for your Blog

Select a template design for the Blog:

That's it done!!! (well almost)

A blog has been created

Now you have to fill it with content. So get typing!

Start blogging!

You can select the Layout Page and start playing with images and content. Don't worry, its not that difficult.

Change your layout

You can add links to images, YouTube videos (relevant to your blog) authors, musicians, web sites, etc.

Now its time to promote and publish your blog around the internet. The more people you tell the more people you will reach.
